  6. Enter your name
  7. Enter your email address
  8. Enter your password
  9. Hit "Save"
  10. Make sure that the "IMAP" tab is selected and continue to the steps below.
  11. Under Incoming Mail Server
    1. The "Host Name" is : mail.example.com
    2. The "User Name" is your full email address
    3. The "Password" is your mail password
  12. Under "Outgoing Mail Server"
    1. The "Host Name" is : mail.example.com
    2. The "User Name" is your full email address
    3. The "Password" is your mail password
  13. Hit "Save"
  14. NOTE : Your iPhone will attempt to Verify your IMAP account information. You will see a message that says "Cannot Connect Using SSL. Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?" When you see this, select "Yes"
  15. Your iPhone will once again attempt to verify IMAP account information. This may take a moment, but be patient. Once complete, you will return to the accounts list.
  16. Select your newly created email account.
  17. Scroll down and click on the button just below the "Outgoing Mail Server" section. Will be called "SMTP mail.example.com"
  18. Select the "Primary Server" button which should be "mail.example.com"
  19. Make sure that the server is set to "ON"
  20. Under "Outgoing Mail Server" verify the settings are as indicated below (where example.com is replaced with your domain name):
    1. Host Name is "mail.example.com"
    2. User Name is your full email address
    3. Password is your mail password
    4. Make sure that Use SSL is turned OFF
    5. Authentication should be set to "Password"
    6. Server Port should be set to 26
    7. Once complete, hit the "SMTP" button at the top left until you retunr to your list of accounts.
  21. You can now go into your account and adjust what folder different messages are saved in.
  22. You're all done. You account should now be setup. You can navigate to your email account by going to your home screen and selecting the "Mail" application
Note, if you are having issues sending or receiving email, and you are within service range, go to your account and select the "Advance Settings." The most common reason that sending and/or receiving is not working is due to "Use SSL" being enabled. Make sure that this is turned off. Another reason could be your ports not being configured properly. The Incoming Mail Server port number should be 143 and your Outgoing Mail Server should be set at 26.
