NOTE: This tutorial assumes that you have "domain admin" privileges. Without this, you will NOT be able to create a new email address.
For all settings,
example.com should be replaced with your domain name.
- Go to your webmail URL : http://webmail.example.com
- Login with your email address and current password.
- Click on the "Settings" button at the top of the page
- Make sure that the "Domain Settings" folder is expanded and select "Users"
- Select the "New" button to the right hand side
- In the "Username" field, enter the email address
- In the "Password" field, create a password and re-enter the SAME password in the "Confirm Password"
- In the "Display Name" field, provide a name that will be displayed to people who receive emails from this account
- In the "Reply-To Email Address" field, enter an alternate reply address you wish to use. This will be the default reply to address for mail sent from this account. Will default to email address if left blank.
- Provide a limit for the email account if you wish
- Here is an explanation of the other settings available:
- Disable User - This will completely disable this user, but the account is not deleted. The user will not be able to log in, send or receive email for this account until you reactivate it.
- Enable as Domain Administrator - Enable this so the user will have full domain administrator privileges, including the ability to add and edit users.
- Disable Password Changes - This option 'locks' the password for end users. If this option is checked the user will not be able to change their password.
- Hide from Global Address List (Enterprise Edition Only) - Enabling this option will remove the user account from the Global Address List. Use this option on accounts that are not tied to real people, like support@example.com.
- Enable DomainKeys for outgoing message signing - Enable this option to have all outgoing mail checked against the system for authenticity.
- If you would like to customize the other settings, please read the following article for a detailed explanation of the different settings.

- Once you have completed, select the "Save" button and you're all set!
